Extremely rude staff. Unfriendly and unprofessional. Girl "helping" me had a nasty attitude and was on her phone when I walked in, did not seem to care at all about her job and being respectful to me - a gym member. I walked out and went to other locations. I don't like being spoken to like that.
Horrible!!! The gym is ok, but they are EXTREMLY SNEAKY with their memberships. I tried to cancel my membership with them back in October. I called multiple times leaving multiple voicemails to a lady (Kimberley) to cancel my account after my year was up, they said they would cancel my account and NEVER did and I have been billed ever since and after getting calls saying they where going to send me to collections I tried AGAIN to cancel and they make it the hardest cancellation process I have EVER been through. You CAN NOT cancel over the phone, you CAN NOT cancel over via E-mail, you CAN NOT cancel in person, you CAN NOT cancel over an IPad or tablet ( I have all these devices except a CPU) You can LITERALLY only cancel over a CPU or laptop, and even then the process is a pain in the butt. I know people that have gone to court over this place and won because of their sneaky cancellation process, there are tons of other gyms in the area and NONE of them have this problem. My advice don't get ripped off take your money else where - trust me it is way worth it!
Awesome gym. Staff is okay. And members are terrible. I've been a member here for about 4 years. Illegal substance evidence are found in the locker room on a regular basis (ie syringe in shower) . Kids at high schools are receiving them from this gym. You can't control members behavior, but you can control thier membership. It's very obvious who is taking and distributing them, but nothing is done about it. They have been reported to mooresville pd. Otherwise great layout, and awesome equipment. Hopefully this issue gets resolved the right way. Not bashing just giving an honest review.
I have been a member of Gold's in Mooresville for twelve years. That in itself says a lot about how great a facility it is. The gym is always clean and the equipment is well maintained. In my personal opinion this is the most important standard for a top notch gym. Secondly, the staff here is wonderful! The general manager who seems to always be present is very well educated on the Gold's Gym criteria and is as hospitable as they come! All of the trainers and desk staff are a pleasure as well. Whether you have paid for personal training or not if you have a question about a weight machine or how to use a dumb bell correctly, they are there for you; spot on! There is a reason I come back to this gym year after year and it isn't just the location. You feel like part of the Gold's Gym family here! Someone is always ready to help you learn more about health and fitness. And isn't that why we come day after day?
Overpriced for them never fixing anything. Steam room hasn't worked as long as ive5 been a member.(1 year)
I don't like giving any places a bad review even if I have a bad experience, I like to give them another chance, but the disrespect from this person/place was over the top and it needs to be addressed.
